Not sure what type of benefits you have in ZPen?
If you joined the Scheme before 1 April 2007, you will have 'old tier' final salary benefits in one of the following tiers:
- Allied Dunbar (AD Tier)
- Eagle Star (ES Tier)
- Tier 2000 (T2K)
- Zurich Insurance (ZI Tier)
If you were still employed after 31 December 2015 or paid Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVCs) after April 2007, then you will also have benefits in ZCashBuilder.
Employees who were in one of the existing final salary tiers had the choice to move to a new final salary pension section called ZPensionBuilder or to ZCashBuilder. ZPensionBuilder is now referred to as final salary.
Final salary accrual stopped on 31 December 2015 but you retained the link to salary while you remained active. If you remained in service after 1 January 2016 you will also have ZCashBuilder in the Scheme.
