Your Pension - Your Future 

On 1st July 2025, administration of ZCashBuilder (the defined contribution section of the ZPen Scheme) and the responsibility for paying our pensioner members, moved from Railpen to another firm of pension specialists, called Broadstone.

Since this date, the same team have continued to look after your benefits, and both ZCashBuilder and ZPen are still being managed as they have always been.

What this means for you

Your pension benefits are not affected by the change in administrator. However, you may notice a change to the branding on your pension communications moving forward.

There have also been changes to some email addresses:

• zcashbuilderteam@railpen.com is now zcashbuilderteam@broadstone.co.uk
• zurichteam@railpen.com is now zurichteam@broadstone.co.uk

These contact details have already been updated across this website, and most other references to Railpen have been changed to Broadstone too.

Please bear in mind that if you’re looking at older documents, some mentions of Railpen may remain, although this will fall away in time.
